Tobias Weidner receives Post-doctoral fellowship
NESAC/BIO post-doctoral fellow Tobias Weidner was awarded a fellowship grant by the Deutsche Forschungs-gemeinschaft (German Science Foundation) for his research on studying peptide and protein structure at surfaces.

NESAC/BIO Collaborator David Grainger of the University of Utah received the 2007 Clemson Award for Basic Research from the Society For Biomaterials for his pioneering research on surface modification and investigations of biological reactions at surfaces.
